Poshn Pristine ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect
- Account details: player name, email address, a hashed (scrambled) password or your Google account ID, your coin balance, experience and level, which games you have opened, and the dates you joined and last signed in.
- Messages: the name, email, topic and message you send through our contact and responsible play forms.
- Form and sign-in log: a server log of form submissions and account events (sign-up, sign-in, failed sign-in, daily bonus, sign-out, deletion). It holds the date, status and the details you submitted. It never holds your password.
- Browser storage: small items that remember your age check, cookie choice and visit timer (see our cookies policy).
Playing games as a guest doesn't require us to collect any account details.
How we use it
- To create and run your account and save your progress (contract).
- To answer your messages and requests (legitimate interests).
- To keep the site secure, prevent abuse and fix problems (legitimate interests).
- To meet legal duties and handle requests to take a break or close an account (legal obligation and consent).
We don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising.
How it is stored
All forms are processed on our server. Each account is kept in a protected file on that server which can't be opened from the web. We don't display database tables, queries or raw records anywhere on the site.
Who else sees it
- Email delivery provider: messages you send through our forms are delivered to our team by email through an SMTP email service that acts for us.
- Google: only if you choose Google sign-in. Google shares your name and verified email with us.
- Hosting provider: our web host stores the site and its files.
We may disclose data if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Account data stays until you delete your account. Messages and logs are kept only as long as needed to deal with your request and keep a reasonable record, then removed.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive a copy. You can delete your account yourself on your account page, or write to us on the contact form. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Security
Passwords are hashed, sessions use protected cookies and repeated wrong sign-in attempts are paused. No system is perfectly secure, so please choose a strong, unique password.
Children
The site is for adults aged 18 and over. If you believe a child has created an account, tell us and we'll remove it.
Changes
We'll update this page when our practices change. The date above shows the latest version.
